TVEA Endorses Incumbents Allison Barclay, Barbara Brosch, Sandy Hinkson and Adam Skumawitz for 2022

On August 8th the 2022-2023 TVEA Political Action Committee interviewed candidates for the remaining unendorsed districts for TVUSD Board of Trustees. The TVEA PAC moved forward incumbents Allison Barclay (TA-1) and Sandy Hinkson (TA-2) to the TVEA Executive Board for consideration on August 9th, where they were endorsed. They join our previously endorsed candidate incumbents Barbara Brosch (TA-3) and Adam Skumawitz (TA-4).

We urgently need TVEA members to share with the community the value of a Board who has vision, experience, and passion.

Our endorsed TVUSD Board of Trustee candidates support a top-tier education, building an inclusive environment, and providing supports for all students. They demonstrated open communication, accessibility, and transparency for parents. Each incumbent also understands the role of educators to meet these goals. They demonstrated support for educators in the classroom or in their support roles and invested in attracting and retaining educators to lead TVUSD to further success.

The TVEA is proud of the relationships we cultivated over the years. Each incumbent is accessible and responsive to the needs and concerns of our members. They want to understand your experience at the foundational levels of the district. Urgent: There are 6 Back-to-School events on Thursday 8/18. We need you to get involved and spread the word at Back-to- School events this month. Wear your blue TVEA shirt and hand out flyers to parents as they come on to the elementary and middle school campuses.

Contribute on a day you are free from Back-to-School duties.
